The
newly revamped UPB algorithms offer a boost in signal strength,
especially in noisy environments, but the real benefit of Gen2 is its
ability to operate in extremely noisy environments. Even though noise
has been a rare problem for UPB, those few times when noise has been
present have been difficult for the original generation of UPB
products. Starting with Gen2, performance in noisy situations will be
much less problematic. Gen2 will still work seamlessly with any
original UPB products that are installed in homes where attenuation and
noise are not impeding performance. |
