Very few homes need circuit filters, but occasionally a device in the home may create power line noise that can interfere with the operation of your UPB network. The ZNF10A-P, ZNF10A-W, PLF-5 and PLF-15 powerline filters are designed to reduce electrical noise generated by certain electrical devices from reaching the powerline. The PLF-5 can handle 5 amp loads, the ZNF series can handle 10 amp loads and the PLF-15 can handle up to 15 amps. The ZNF10A-P and the PLF-5 are plug-in modules (plug the offending device into it and plug it into the wall) while the ZNF10A-W and the PLF-15 are wired directly into the offending circuit.
