Printing can be centralized by connecting the printer directly to NetPlace to create a printer server. Printer jobs are transferred from the computers on the RLAN to the server, thereby improving the speed and performance of the print job and the computers on the network.

NetPlace’s optional Family Lifestyle applications allow the busy family to manage their lives using easily accessible applications such as a Calendar, Recipe Manager, Car Maintenance Logs, Personal Inventory Manager, and an Address Book.

Simultaneous Internet access allows multiple users to access the Web using a single Internet Service Provider account, whether it is dial-up, cable modem, DSL or wireless service.

An Internet security firewall safeguards the entire network while on-line to prevent unauthorized access from external sources over the Internet.
