BAL-01

The BAL-01 Audio Baluns are intended to be used to extend the output from a personal computer's sound card to a stereo system in a remote location. Without these baluns, an extended cable run would pick up noise creating a less than optimal listening experience.

One balun is used to convert the signal from the sound card from a singled ended system (signal and ground) to a balanced signal. This balanced signal is then carried over CAT5 or audio cable to the far end, where a second BAL-01 converts the signal back to single ended to connect to the stereo tuner system input.

In all installations, two baluns are required - one on each end of the cable.
